The wonders  of Scotland, Scotland Landscape photography and the best stag picture EVER!

I had such a fabulous trip up to Scotland over Christmas, Mum lives on the Isle of Skye so rather than travel all the way there from Harrogate we met half way at Tyndrum. We headed towards Oban way and found us a fabulous little camp site right on the sea front – one of the only ones that was open actually, which really surprised me! Maybe not all campers are as hardy as us Northerners! lol Mums got a cute X Trail that she’s done out for sleeping in and cupboards for her camping gear – it’s fab! I have the awesome roof top tent on top of the Landy but also have the awnings on the side and back for getting out the rain and keeping warm!!! With the Outbacker wood burning stove, the awning and the side windbreak up – you wouldn’t believe the difference in the warmth – drop me a message if you want info on where to get the stove. So the following day we had a fab walk then found a fabulous campsite at Creagan – where we got permission from a couple of forestry workers to drive a fab forest track in the Landy and got some cracking photos! Onto Glencoe and Glen Etive – I’d always wanted to go to Glen Etive and wasn’t disappointed – what a wonderful glen this is – so pretty. This was where I got my awesome stag photo!! Isn’t he a belter?! I felt so lucky to get this shot – everything was right, the light, the background the weather. He just stared at me for a few seconds and the moment was gone but I caught it!! There’s so many walks and so many stunning places around this area of Scotland – I need to go back soon!!
