Yellow Rapeseed Fields – Panoramic Countryside Canvas Print
I took this photograph at the end of April while travelling through France with a friend in our Land Rovers.
We’d been exploring the countryside and following little off-road tracks whenever we could. One of those tracks brought us out into this lovely open landscape in the Champagne-Ardenne region, with bright yellow rapeseed fields, fresh green crops and four trees lined up on the horizon beneath a huge blue sky.
It’s quite different from the landscapes I normally photograph, but I really liked the simplicity of it. The four trees, the yellow fields and the track winding through the middle just caught my eye.
I think the colours work really well as a panoramic canvas print, especially if you’re looking for something bright and colourful for your wall.
