£17.50£235.00

Pen Hill is a prominent Hill that can be seen from Wensleydale and Coverdale. This view, one of my favourites in the Dales is taken from the Shawl in Leyburn. The shawl is a limestone escarpment and is named after the shawl that Mary Queen of Scots dropped when escaping from Bolton Castle with fabulous views across Wensleydale to Pen Hill This image can alos be found in my 2025 Yorkshire Calendar
