From the Netherlands to France….

Well we’re back from another amazing adventure!! I took Norton to the Netherlands on the ferry from Hull where I met my lovely pal Susan. We had a few days in NL where I insisted I wanted to see windmills and tulips! It was great! It really is as flat as they say you know! lol It was also my first night in my awesome new roof top tent!! I loved it! But I’ll do a separate blog on that 🙂
We then drove down through Belgium to get into France. We’d been given some really lovely off road routes we wanted to check out in the Champagne-Ardennes in the region of Picardie. Such a pretty place – so much colour and we were so lucky with the weather!
(Some of these images will be going into the galleries to buy as prints.  Some of these colours will look great on the wall!)
We didn’t meet anyone ever on all the tracks we did – oh we did! – I forgot, a horse and rider – whilst we were blocking the lane eating lunch and sun bathing! She was jolly nice and understanding. Our last night we saw a great camp spot over looking a valley right over to Belgium. We pulled up at a farm and asked if we may camp there and were met with smiles and hand shaking and “Oui oui oui” so our last night was just perfect, out own little slice of heaven with a little fire going and the guitar…
